Ashley is originally from Palm Springs, CA. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from the California Institute of the Arts. She also studied at the London Contemporary Dance School in England for a brief period, where her love for improvisation blossomed. Since moving to New York City, Ashley has worked with numerous choreographers, including Emily Faulkner (Emily Faulkner/Wind-Up Dances), Dana Salisbury and the No-See-Ums, and Zoe Scofield (zoe | juniper). Currently she is an apprentice with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and recently performed with them inContinuous Replay for the Inaugural Season of New York Live Arts. Ashley is also a writer and a singer, and is working to make these a more integral part of her life as a performing artist. She is thrilled to be working with Austin and Company XIV.
