
LAUREN MICHELLE, originally from Los Angeles received her Bachelor’s Degree from The Juilliard School and her Masters from University California, Los Angeles. She has performed for young audiences in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Italy, England, and South Africa. She won First Prize in both the Leontyne Price Competition and the NATS Competition. She has sung recitals of Lieder and French/American art songs at festivals throughout France and the USA. She spent time in Florence, Italy as an apprentice at the Teatro Communale di Firenze, becoming fluent in Italian and performing several roles such as Lauretta in “Gianni Schicchi” and the title role in Reynaldo Hahn’s “Mozart.” Recently Ms. Criddle sang Helena in Britten’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the prestigious Banff Center in Canada, and the lead role of Susanna in Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro” at UCLA.
